Soulentine’s Kintsugi Workshop
Celebrating Connection at Our Community Kintsugi Workshop
The month of February is often synonymous with heart-shaped candies and traditional romance. But what if we looked closer at the relationships that truly sustain us? What if we celebrated the beauty of the "breaks" and the strength found in the repair?
This year, we’re inviting you to step away from the traditional and into something deeper. Join us for an inclusive Community Kintsugi Workshop—a space dedicated to connection, belonging, and the art of celebrating the relationships that hold us together.
What is Kintsugi?
Kintsugi is the centuries-old Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold, silver, or platinum. Rather than hiding the cracks, Kintsugi highlights them, acknowledging that the piece is more beautiful and resilient for having been broken and repaired.
It is a powerful metaphor for our lives and our communities. Our histories, our struggles, and our shared experiences don't make us "damaged"—they make us unique.
A New Kind of Celebration: Love in All Forms
While many events focus solely on "Galentine’s" or romantic love, this workshop is intentionally designed for all genders. We believe that love is a spectrum that includes:
Self-Love: Honoring your personal journey and growth.
Friendship: Celebrating the platonic bonds that provide our daily support.
Community Love: Recognizing the collective strength of belonging to something bigger than ourselves.
What to Expect: Art, Sips, and Soul
This isn't your average "sip and paint" night. We’ve designed this experience to be a grounded, sensory journey.
The Craft: You’ll receive a ceramic vase and all the materials needed to practice the art of Kintsugi. Our facilitators will guide you through the process of repair, helping you create a physical reminder of resilience.
The Atmosphere: Forget stiff chairs and bright fluorescent lights. We’re keeping things cozy with floor seating only. We’ll provide comfortable bolsters, mats, and blankets to help you feel grounded and relaxed as you create.
The Refreshments: Your ticket includes a curated selection of wines and artisanal mocktails to enjoy throughout the session.
Join Us for a Celebration of Togetherness
Whether you’re coming solo to meet like-minded neighbors or bringing a group of friends to celebrate your bond, there is a place for you here. Let’s create, connect, and celebrate the golden seams that weave our community together.
